These type of acne are different from the whiteheads and the blackheads and results from increased oil and dead cells and bacteria clogged in the pores. The clogging of the excess oil and bacteria in the pores results to inflammation hence causing the formation of the papules. The papules later develops into pustules when the body tries to fight against the infection as the white blood cells are collected in the papule.


Treating the papules and pustules.

Various products have been recommended for the treatment of the papules and pustules but the benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid remains to be more effective. 4. Nodular and Cystic acne
